Several members were involved in the early days of the “word of mouth” and some have contributed to well-known product review websites.

As enthusiasts ourselves we are able to delve into the technical details while also communicating them in an approachable manner. As diver and a mountain enthusiast, Yann is sharing plenty of life hack and must have tech and gadgets. We proceed with the main body of the review allowing readers to understand the features, weigh the benefits against the limitations, and fostering a balanced understanding of the product’s usefulness and value. Furthermore, we delve into potential use cases for the technology in question. By illustrating how a product can fit into different lifestyles, we provide readers with practical insights on how the tech can serve their specific needs. These contextual examples not only enhance understanding but also assist users in picturing the product within their own lives. We conclude with definitions of technical terms and product specification overview.

At Hype Talk, we have opted for a simple approach with a single score ranging from 0 to 100, in order to ensure simplicity while retaining flexibility. We are purposely not displaying the exact score in plain text. Unlike other website, we don’t believe in sophisticated multifaceted rating systems as different products called for different criteria.

Our main considerations are:

Innovation – We assess novelty of the product and we favor solutions that include novel technologies or bring state-of -the-art technology to a higher level.
Unmet needs – We evaluate how the product answer to an unmet need and is not a mere copy of an existing product and we favor simple solutions to complex problems/needs.
Design – We look into the product’s form factor, build quality, and ergonomics and score based on both visual appeal and practical functionality.
Interface / Ease of Use – We consider our own experience with the product and try to estimate how a less tech savvy user would feel. We are into product which are centered around user experience.
Value for Money – We benchmark the technology against alternative products and how valuables are additional features. We like tech that have a fair price and are accessible to the general public.
